that's what i was thinking.... but nothing beats experience. it thought it sounded great over the soldano. and my maxon od808 is probably going to be even better than that.

heres a recent pciture of my gear. didnt think it deserved its own thread.
the second one is my bassman,
the third one is my messed up finger after smashing it and it spliting in two. smashed it bording up for stupid rita
EDIT: forgot to mention my 4x12 cab. its an acoustic (brand) and i cant figure out how to take it apart. its held together looks like with the corner protectors. and they have some kinda rivet thing that is ungetoutable. need to know what kinda speakers.

wow, my soldano bragging thread got jacked that fast? 
you have an acoustic cab? nice, take a pic i might be able to help you get it apart. i had an acoustic control bass cab, it was kinda screwy but such a great peice of gear.

I just got a DiMarzio pickup for my accoustic. $70.
Also got some Shaller starp locks for both my guitars. I don't think I'll be doing the Warlock, though, because the strap pins are in the back of the guitar and make it uncomfortable enough to play sitting down as it is, the strap locks are about twice the size and would probably cause me some pain.
Plus, I plan to get rid of the Warlock in the near future and get a Les Paul knockoff from Rondo Music.
Got a bag of Heavy Dunlop picks, too. The see through yellowish ones with a picture of a white rhino on 'em. Good stuff.

the last picture is the corner connector. the line going down is not a panel its a rip in tolex. they're all over the back.
Edit: ive replaced all the tubes in my amp exept for the one 12au7 and know i come to find that i think thats the one thats been giving me the trouble the entire time! so... thats the reverb tube ( im pretty sure). does it matter what kind i get? i can get jj or eh for 8 bucks.

well, there is no way to get the back off, and the speakers are front loaded. so the grill needs to come off.
my basscab didnt have screws, i had to wedge a screwdriver and pry it off. it was weird.
