Ensiferum news
Oliver left Ensiferum.
"As some of you may have already noticed, there's been a new man behind the drums at the live concerts during the past six months. Janne Parviainen has been substituting for Oliver Fokin and is now a steady member. The main reason for this change in the band was that there were too many differences of interests."
"The earlier mentioned mini-cd will be
recorded at Sonic Pump studios in Helsinki."
"The third studio album is scheduled
to be recorded in the summer of 2006."

ive never understood why some people think certain keyboard and guitar melodies are "cheesy". doesnt really make sense. fuck, they're just notes. i guess it would make more sense if i found a certain group of notes played by a certain setting of synth or style of guitar to be "cheesy". however i think im quite glad i dont have this way of looking at music/notes.
edit: i dont mind changes of drummers much. vocals and guitar changes can screw up a band though. ensiferum rock.

i just dont get it, what is "cheesy" in the music? considering that "cheesy" is defined as having poor quality. im sure people arnt using it in this way though. ive found that when most people say a part of a song is cheesy, its usually my favorite part. thus, totally baffling me.

Yeah, like in power metal when they use major to make it sound happy its super corny. I've never been cursed with this distaste myself either.
