Guitar Pro contest
This is done in MSB so I was thinking if it works here.
So, we'll do our own songs with GP and upload it to thread. Say "I'm in" or something if you are interested. If there is enough tabbers who are interested, I'll do another thread where you can upload you song. When I do that thread you have about a week time to upload your song. Then we'll do a poll so we can vote who's song is the best. Kinda like that Metaltabs band.
READ THIS: Export your song to MIDI, so everyone who don't have GP can vote too.
And no one can't stole your composition.
Interested?
Edit: It doesn't have to be metal.

Erm, if you want MIDI files only, then surely Powertab users can enter?

fatdanny: Nope. I forgot to tell that in my reply.
blizzard_beast: I'm not sure. Is there as much instruments as in GP?

Yeah, GP is much better for writing music, in my opinion. GP has over a hundred sounds plus drums.

Yea, it would be unfair for those who use PT. So, only GP is allowed.
I'm already writing something.

GP sucks..
get back to me when you allow the use of PT, a far superior program.

I agree i like Power Tabs much better. Also does it have to even be a on a tab program or if i just record something on my PC with cakewalk or whatever can i put that up? (cakelwalk is a midi recording program so anyone would be able to lsiten to it just for those of you that don't know)

I'll tab something but can never get the correct rhythmic placement/displacement. So I'm fucked.

Ok, GP and PT are both allowed. I think it's unfair, but if you want, you can use PT.

I don't want to complicate things here, but.
Would it not be better having the PT going against each other then the winner facing off against the winner from the GP people?

You mean like GP users have their own competition and PT users their own. And then GP winner vs PT winner?
