instructional video recommendations?
Hey, im looking for recommendations on any cool or helpful instructional drum videos that any one would have. I have heard of the derek roddy one but I can't find it anywhere, so if anyone knows how I could get a hold of one that would be kick ass.
If this question has been answered somewhere close this thread and let me know were I could find the thread.

The info for the derek roddy video is on his forum, which is down right now. Search for the derek roddy instructional video here, I remember I posted all the instructions on how to order it. It's not really a great instructional video. He just shows 2 exercises. It's worth getting it to watch his 3 solos though.

Theres no excuse for your cymbals to sound as shitty as that. My cymbals sound 10 times better on my fucking mic from a stereo.

Dude, the guy has a a home-style cam corder set up in the corner of the room be side him, with a shitty little microphone that is built to pick up standard sound waves at regular frequencies.....
Why don't you go down to your bedroom, and set up your parents cam corder and smash your cymbals and post a video? Then we can compare "Recording qualities".
If you think for one minute that he didn't KNOW his cymbals sound like shit, you're missing the whole point of the video clip. He posted that so people could SEE him play. It's not meant to sound like a studio quality thing.

I wasnt trying to start an arguement or anything. Yeah the cam corder takes away some of his sound quality, i know that. But if i heard him in real life, i dont think my opinion would change. They just sound like cheap zildjians.

Pete Sandoval said he will be releasing a drumming video in an interview I saw. I have searched for more news but have found nothing. anyone else hear anything about this? Maybe I can finally get my drummer to do some blasting.

i watched some of that derek roddy drum video today and from what i took in it helped me allot with using both hands and getting them equil in strength
