Wonder what the black metal of Christ would be called, White Metal? Light Metal?
Wasn't it Pope Benedikt (the new German former Nazi Pope who was recently elected) who stated that Metal is the mark of Satan, and all rock music is evil? I know he's cathloic but its all considered Christianity.
So why would there be Christ Metal?
The whole point of Scandanavian Metal Bands (Black Metal bands) is to use Metal to express evil. o.o
I.E, Dimmu Borgir - who has been reallly satanic in their past albums,
Naglfar, and of course Marduk.

The problem with 'White' Metal is that all the bands consist entirely of chimps. This grates because, as chimps, they don't believe in evolution. As a consequnce, they hate themselves and torture us with wretched half-cocked rectal-rumbling music.

its kind of funny...this thread just reminded me of it. My band played a battle of the bands and we didnt even know it was a christian rock show (even thought there was only one christian rock band) and we got first so now we have a certificate saying we are the #1 Christian rock band of Arlington Heights!

Do not despair, for I have good news. Besides saving a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to Geico.
Metal and rock music in general cannot be satanic or evil. They simply can't, no matter how hard they try. You see, the priest of my church listens to just about the same stuff I listen to, ie: Iron Maiden, (666 anyone?), Deep Purple, Metallica, Megadeth, AC/DC, and other assorted rock artists.
He also plays bass and guitar. He calls himself a bassist, but his guitar playing aint' too shabby. Hell, the guy is pretty damn good. I haven't seen/heard him play bass yet, but he has told me to call him next time we jam, and I am thinking of recruiting him for my band, as I need a bass player.
