French Canadians who learn English later in life frequently have problems differentiating between plurals and singulars and also have consistent problems with prepositions. As someone who grew up watching a ton of pro wrestling, listening to the interviews of more French Canadians than any of you could count, I can personally vouch for that.

they dont teach you shit inschool anyways. you can sit in a classroom learning a language for two years and learn the same amount after living in the country for like week. the foreign language department sucks, the only way you ever learn a langauge is speaking it

Honestly we never practiced speaking spanish. I made myself repeat Spanish one (passed with C's, but couldn't speak worth shit because my teacher left half way through the year. So we didn't get anything done), but now, I don't remember shit. Summer sucks for that.
