Haven't played them, but have seen a few Warlocks. I don't know, they just look kinda silly to me. The body's too small compared to everything else. The Warlock guitars look cool, but the basses to me just look really dumb.

I like B.C. Rich guitars. Well at least the older model NJ Warlock I got. Anyway for bass...err if you are thinking of doing Alex Webster type stuff on a B.C. Rich...forget it. However if you are just doing simple bass playing or playing with a pick then B.C. Rich is OK. They are alot better than Jackson basses. IMO. B.C. Rich basses are always good to fuck around with..ie: tune a four string down to like B or A (where it does'nt matter if you sound good or not LOL) or something you can really just thrash around with on stage.
My girlfriend has a Warlock bass and I I will probably pick up this Ironbird bass I saw in a little shop by my school.
I suggest adding EMGs. It really depends on what you are looking for. Like are you playing insane technical stuff or are you playing like with distortion on the bass and simple riffs?

I have a BC Rish bass and I happen to really like. They don't look silly at all and the neck is really straight.

They look horribly stupid. And unless your going to drop $1000 or so on one (which is proof of retardation) There are always better basses for the money.

If you like the feel, fine. If you like the appearance, fine. If you like the sound, that's even better. But if you pick up a different bass that is the same price, and you know its better in feel/playability/sound/everything, but you play a Warlock bass for gr1m points, then die.
But then again its hard to argue with Steve Tucker.

BcRich doesn't sound that bad...
I saw Morbid Angel few months ago, and the bass was great 
Just, don't buy a cheap BcRich...

Look man I don’t think bc rich interments sux with the exemption of the “bronze series” but other then the there good interments and man fact that BCR fu*ked over brain of (deicide) and, stole his beast design and did not give him crap man that’s fu*king gay!!!

My bro's got a B.C. Rich and it is a very good bass. Don't listen to these people as they are only letting the look of the bass influence their outlook on the instrument's sound. The only thing about b.c. Rich i dont like is that even the really high-end basses have the exact same specs on the website as the bronze, just one more pickup, but nonetheless the are extremely good sounding.

It's true. I have horrible memories of playing BC Rich.
Simply put there are better basses out there. Why settle for a $1000 custom shop BC Rich when you can get a $500 Rockbass, Ibanez, Traben, ESP, or Fender? Hell if you want to spend $1000 on a good BC Rich, why not spend $1000 on an amazing Warwick?

Hold up buddy, there are not expensive like you say, that is complete bullsh*t and you don’t have to get a handmade one for it to sound good. A platinum series bass will do and even then you can change the pick up later if want besides warwick basses sounds like bcr bass anyway (standered ones) so point being u can get a good BCR for about 4 to 5 hundred or even then you can save even more if you shop on Ebay!!!

You will probably get more for your money with another manufacturer in my opinion, but I have never played a bc bass, only guitar.
In any case, play one in a shop before you buy anything.
