Vocal Effects Processor?

What I'm looking for is a vocal effects processor that will be well suited to live use ( or one that I can just hook a MIDI footswitch up to or something ), that will give me weird/strange/trippy/frightening vocal effects ... pitchshifter, flange, harmonizer, and just all kinds of strange presets. I've been reading about the Digitech Vocal 400 floor modeller, and it seems like my best bet so far. What say you?

I think that would do fine. I'm not too keen on vocal effects though, so I'd go to guitar center and tell them to find the best one for your money, and then try it out yourself and see if you like it.

I think Digitech is your best bet. I have seen digitech voice things used before and they are nice You can get some insane shit out of digitech that is worth having still.

What I'm thinking about doing is learning to sing ( talk ) and play at the same time, perfectly, and then just front my own experimental death/grind/math metal band, and all the vocals can just sound like Today Is The Day/Ministry/ trippy flanged distorted dropped down two octaves oration. Don't steal my idea
