I have a Boss Heavy Metal Pedal, a Boss MT-2, a Digitech Death Metal Pedal and 2 Orion Overdrive pedals.. its such a very good heavey distortion!

i am rather fond of the digitech distortion factory, it has a metalzone setting, which gets almost the exact sound of the metalzone, but it actually has balls.
i also have the digitech metalmaster, its decent, got some good death metal tones out of it

I set up ten of those slaved in a series/parallel configuration (2 rows of five) last year and I have never looked back. I sold my Engl and my JCM900 to some nu-metal suckers and I strictly gig out with the McDistortion setup these days. Anything digitech sound pretty brutal. I'm using a the digitech RP200 floor processor, and all the distortions sound great! I also love marshalls distortion. Wonder if they make a pedal
