In "Kings Of Metal" by Manowar 4th song is The Sting Of Bumblebee. This is a version of a classic song (for piano I think) and is played by Joey DeMaio (bass player) but Joey DeMaio have a 6 strings of 24 fert so he can play the high notes of this song.

You should look out for the bass-book by Josquin des Prés. He transcribed J.S. Bach (yes, THE Johan Sebastian Bach) for Bassguitar. It sounds simple and boring, the same I thought, but after studying for hours and hours and hours, it came to me as genius! It gives easy walking on the bass and some finger-breaking moves also.
