The Right Neck Width
I was looking on the custom ran guitars and I was trying to figure out which size to go for either 1 5/8" (which my current ibanez has) or the little larger 1 11/16" . If you have smaller hands go with the smaller one or is it just based on how one feels or is comfortable with? Any ideas? Might have been convered once but I didn't find it in search.

As far as I'm aware, a lot of modern guitars have 1 11/16" nut widths, whereas your classic models like strats and whatnot have nuts that are 1 5/8" wide. I'm pretty sure I read that somewhere, although I could be wrong

Mostly Fenders have 1 5/8" nuts while everyone else ( Gibson, Jackson, B.C. Rich, Moser, ect. ) normally uses 1 11/16". I'm pretty sure Ibanez use 1 11/16' nuts too so you might want to measure you guitar to see.
I would go with 1 11/16" myself. Extra room will not affect you playing but to little room will piss you off greatly.

I need a wide fretboard, my hands are big, although I'm happy with my Wizard Neck I could use a larger one.

Neck depth
Aside from just nut width, pay attention to the thickness of the neck perpendicular to the fretboard too. My BC Rich strat and Warlocks have these real nice thin necks that make playing alot easier. I've tried out old style telecasters and SG's and the necks are like baseball bats. It's ridiculous. Make sure to get a thin neck.

Ran necks are actually thiner then Wizard necks. In fact, Ran necks have the thinest neck of any guitar made that I know of

just clarifying for people, the Wizard II is 43mm at nut, which translates to 1.69 inches, which and 11/16 is 0.6875 which rounds to it... so yeah... ibanez has the 11/16ths

I think most already knew that but I thank you for helping clearify it anyway.
I can't stand playing with 1 5/8" nuts
