Kewl, the place is only like 10 minutes from my house, so it's an easy drive for me.

The show's coming to my town on Aug. 6. I already got my ticket, I bought it the day after they went on sale, and they had already sold like three rows or more, I don't quite remember, I think it might have even been over five rows in one day.
I read somewhere, either on Megadeth's web site or on gigantour.com that both Megadeth and DT are gonna have 90 min. sets, respectively. It'd better not be no fucking 45 minute bullshit.
As for nevermore, I checked them out, and hated them. I don't understand why Dave even has them on this tour, but that's just me, I'm sure Dave has his reasons. As for the guy who said that nevermore is better than Megadeth live, I wonder what you're on my friend, but I think you need a reality check. I've never seen either band live, but I have seen plenty of live footage of Megadeth, and my best friend has seen them live several times, and each time they simply ruled, as I'm sure they will on August 6th.

Just some shit came up in the last minute, and I can't get out of it so that's why I'll be missing it. It pisses me off even more when I hear Dave say that this may be the last tour he's doing.

Second stages are almost always just a stage set up in the parking lot.

I almost ended up having to sell my ticket, but thanks to my stubborness and uncompromising ballsines, (big pat on back), I'm still going.
My cousin in Ohio is getting married on the exact same day of the show. My parents are going, as well as my brother. They all insisted on me going, and then when they saw that I don't want to, my parents used the old reliable nagging technique, because they know that I can't stand nagging, and will usually let them have their way just so they will shut the fuck up.
Not this time. I persevered, and am officially going to se Megadeth. I'm fucking psyched about it, too, I think it's gonna be a killer fucking show. I bought a seat ticket, but hopefully I'll be able to go down into the crowd and mosh with the less worthy when Megadeth hits the stage.

I was going to go to this on Aug 17 just to see Fear Factory, Dry Kill Logic & Dillenger but i just cant give up any money to Megadeth or Dream Theater. That would just bother me too much & make me feel like less of a man lol!

The show was badass. The second stage sucked except Symphony X's guitarist was OK. I don't know there set list but they played for about 30 minutes+. I met Megadeth and asked Dave if they'll go back in the studio anytime soon. He said they might... but it's still up in the air. I think they will.
