Hmm, the fest ends in Boston...pretty cool. Too bad there are only two good bands on this tour.

YES, I will be able to see Megadeth! They better play Rattlehead. I don't really want to see Fear Factory though.

Fat chance of that. They rarely play anything off the first album and generally only Wake Up Dead or Peace Sells off the second. This is why they pretty much suck for the last 16 years.

When I saw them they played lots of songs from that era. Devils Island, Mechanix as well as another one that I forgot. (though it was aparently a special one just for us aussies)
Though they did play for just under 2 hours.

You lucky dog! I think they should ALWAYS play Mechanix just to rub it in Metallica's face.
I first saw them on the Peace Sells tour and they played everything off the first two albums minus the cover songs plus they played an early version of Mary Jane. That might well have been the greatest small club concert ever. I've seen them twice since then and both times they totally neglected Killing... and just played the video hits off of Peace Sells.

It was really strane (but interesting) during the middle of songs, they changed to other songs. So for instance, they started playing peace sells, then at one of the 'breaks' in the song they swapped to playing Paranoid (Black Sabbath) then went back after than and finished Peace Sells. Their last song was a mish mash of Holy Wars, Train of Concequence and Mechanix.

Irvine's been on sale for a week now. It might be worth it to buy San Diego tickets and make the drive if you can't get good seats at the Meadows. Turns out the pre-sale is some promo gay shit and regular tickets are on sale today at 10AM.
