I'm not the greatest musician ever, but I have the ability to play/write some pretty difficult shit. The stupid thing is, I don't put that ability to the test. If I know it, I know it. But I never strive to learn anything new (well, hardly ever). I usually don't even play other people's songs--I just do my own. But hell, no matter how hard I try I will never beat Ygnie Malmsteen or whatever that fuckers name is. And I've never learned a solo by heart--I always "ad lib" my solos if I have any. I try to conquer whatever pops into my head.  |

OMG  just about the whole album is a bitch to play. I have been working on 'Good Morning, Black Friday' for years. There are no tabed leads for that song anywhere and I'll be damned if I could do it. |

You gotta search more, I've seen coupla tabs for that song. I think the Rust in Peace album is much harder to play than anything on Peace Sells...

Malmsteen is simply a gay pirate who can do 3 strings arpeggios.
Spiral Architect and Spastic Ink, good stuff. I've been meaning to get around to learning "Fountain Head" and "Aquanet".

You talking about Good Mourning or Wake Up Dead? I use Guitar pro to learn most of the songs I wanna learn, so I can get like helluva lot of tabs I want. Most of 'em are mostly correct, and so it's useful having that program.

I got PT and yes, Good Mourning is the song. Like I said. I have looked for hours for that songs complete and correct leads. As far as I know, Mustaine and Poland are the only 2 people that actually know how to play it right and they never tabed it. I think I might be the only person in the world that wants the song and can't tab it myself. It is a real bitch.

i need to learn a song that focuses on good alternate picking technique, cause no matter how hard i try i cant alternate pick solo shit like scale rundowns un 3rds or 4ths no matter how hard i try i always fuck up and unintentionaly do a down pick then another down pick to the next string. |
