You fucking idiot.

Exactly.
And dipshit, what does it matter if you mix bands at a festival? Thats what festivals are FOR. Nowhere does it say that metal and hardcore bands cannot play together at the same festival. Why? Because that would be gay.
if you don't like the line up, then stfu, and don't go.
Oh, and P.S.? It says Metal Blade is coordinating it. Considering they don't have any tour dates yet? I'm guessing that there are many more bands to come. Maybe, *gasp* some more in place so it doesn't ruin the kvlt-ness for you!

well listen up dipshit ...would it be ok if amon amarth played a tour with linkin park???? HELL NO!!! Festivals are supposed to be an event where you stay all day or night and listen to band after band....duh. so why would you mix two genres with two completly different styles of music??? its unlogical
. heh

Usually they have different stages, and hence different bands playing at the same time. Obviously you're not going to like every band that plays, but you can usually keep yourself occupied by checking out the different stages...

Its actually verry logical, you just don't understand the logic. If they put metal bands and hardcore bands togeather in the tour then they can maximise attendace by capturing 2 audiences. It has to do with diversity, but more to do with getting as many people through the door as possible. If you don't like it, don't go.

There is more of a fucking gap between LP and Amon Amarth, ass. Harcore is a shitload closer than Alternative to metal.
And it seems like you are the only person who doesn't get it. Ozzfest always mixes hardcore and metal bands. But according to you and Silent, "you just don't do that."
Wrong. You do. Its been done. End of story. Like I said, you don't like it because "you just don't fucking do it," then don't go. And stfu about it.
And I doubt that the tickets will be even as much as Ozzfest. Although they won't be dirt cheap.
