My bro has the 240, so yours is likely to be slightly smaller and generally better. Which is good since the 240 is pretty damn impressive. You've certainly invested well, those iRivers are awesome - they plow the iPod out of the water and into outer space with consumate ease.

I think it's about the same size but it still twats the iPod in the face with a very large sledgehammer. With nails on. iPods are the most over-rated piece of guff you can buy, I'd rather use my old cassette Walkman - they're more reliable, at least.

I'm going to buy the nine-disc DVD box set of the Alien Quadrilogy tomorrow. Ł34.99 is not to be sniffed at, so if you're in the UK get down to HMV and take advantage of their quite astonishing and bewildering generosity.

Well, since this my first guitar build, I'm gonna get help from a luthier I know for the routing. I gotta wait for that to happen so its all on hold for now.

its actually a fair bit bigger, but still not huge, its roughly an inch thick, but i guess thats becuase the screen is colour, rather than black and white.
