death metal
hey fellas,
me and a mate have just started a death metal band, and everything is going well (cept we dont have a bass player yet), and i was just after some vocal tips. i can get a pretty similar sound to deicide and opeth, but my cricket screaming (you know, that weird breathe in thing) really isnt up to scratch yet. so basically im after tips on how to better do the more deathy growls (im not bad, but im by no means great and any help would be appreciated) and how to cricket scream more brutally. also i need to buy a mic, help on that would be cool too (im thinking a shure sm58)
