I really don't think there is a single thing wrong with Deliverance. For what they were aiming for, they achieved it and it was damn-near perfect. And as for MAYH, the only weakness I could point out for it would be Mike's vocals (he was ill during recording), yet I actually prefer his clean singing on Credence to many others off of Damnation.
Morningrise is definitely my favourite, but it isn't much like Deliverance or MAYH. A good question would be Still Life, BWP or MAYH (of which I would choose Still Life, but it's damn near close with all 3).

Blackwater Park, and I'm sure almost any Opeth fan will tell you the same thing. I don't like Still Life that much, although The Moor is definately one of my favorite songs by them.

Blackwater comes close, but I think Still Life is the best and one of my favorite albums ever.

Thats from the Suffocation concert, Trans.
I don't know, BWP is one of my favorites of all time... It was my first death metal cd (Progressive Death, whatever you want to call them; they are still Death).

Deliverance by a long shot
Then MAYH
Not a big fan of Morningrise. They sounded pretty undeveloped on that.

Apparently, they are thinking of re-recording Orchid and Morningrise...
Figured I'd throw that on in there.

If they did, what do you think? Will they just let the songs be the same and use better production, or will they rewrite it partially, makeing it more 'modern' Opeth?

No, I think it would be strictly re-recorded. No tweaks.

Chili dogs and pepsi. If you missed the point, I was referring to RabbiCockSlicer's claim that he is "in your pants" on the location block. And I was also curious as to what the fuck substance he is on with that "shhh..... it will all be over soon" comment of his.
I wouldn't even want to guess what Opeth might do with those re-recordings, but I'm pretty sure it will rule.

It was a rumor flying around their official forum. That should give you a good idea that they might do it...
But I wouldn't get your hopes up.
