i like ALL knobs at about 5-6 depending on the guitar.. such a simple amp to eq.

but seriously, it's not that hard, listen to the band, listen to yourself, if you need more lows, turn up the lows, less mids? turn em' down, ect...

i understand people wanting mesa settings, but that's cuz mesa's are a bitch to eq'. 5150's are not.
