i'm with bls %1000 here...

their amps are just as shitty as the people that work for them..

they got kicked off of harmony central because they had their employees go post a shitload of straight 10 reviews. i've seen them spamming and talking up their shit on other forums...

the chadwick, is like a poser jcm 800.. it's actually modded off of a sovtek mig i think... which is basically a jcm 800 clone... they fuck up the tone to be totally shitty, put some plad tolex on it and a huge pricetag, then endorse some metal band... walla. so so clean tones, incapable of high gain tones and almost unusable medium gain tones.

the revolution, the "kleen" channel is actually pretty good, very scoopy and lots of headroom on that channel... but i could get just as good of cleans out of alot cheaper amps with more honest employees and versitility..
distortion was seriously unusable, but now it's common knowlegde in the gear world that there is a fault in the preamp design, it breaks up very unpredictably, shrill and grainy no matter what you do, no balls at all. it's not even that high gain. that channel sounds like white noise when you strum a chord.

the cab that i played, was a matching red one with the revolution... it wasnt to bad.. nice eminence speakers, and a decent cab design... i give them no credit here because cabs are pretty hard to fuck up. it's a wooden fucking box(you can easily rip off another companies designs), then you throw some nice speakers(that they didn't make) in it and slap a $900 price tag.
what bothers me is they claim they're solid wood cabs. nope, just thick plywood.. insider info.

havent played the pedals, but i'd be willing to go out on a limb here and say their pretty shitty too.

they first started claiming they created a recto killer... my friend that works at guitar center was telling me some krank dude brought in the revolution,probably trying to convince some store to carry them(which they're having a really hard time doing), and told him to a/b it next to the fucking mesa road king. he was like "get that thing out of here, it sounds like that head is throwing garbage at my face."

I really love the Cyclone AMP by like a ton. I played one and I dare say next to a Mesa X3 rec and it killed the Mesa by far imo. Don't tell anyone though.

Yeah this guys just s**cks ass. I saw Arch Enemy and Michael Ammot had this Krank stack that was totally horrible, the distortion had no tone, i think he might of had some effects or racks because the leads where good, in the other hand, his brother had a Peavey 6505 stack, and he totally had a better sound than his older brother, hehehe

Krank amps are hype. that is all there is to them. once you hear them or play one you know they are not as cool as they claim.

funny story here, kinda. i was looking at amps at my local shop, and the guy kept talking up this Krank. so im like no, i dont want that piece of monkey shit. so he gets all mad and hes like, just try it. so i go to try it, and i turn it to 10. i blew 3 of the 4 speakers in the cabinet, it was pretty awesome. i didnt have to pay for it.
