See, thats not fair. I understand that that shows that you've contributed, but for people like me who 1.) Do not tab, 2.) Cannot tab well, and 3.) concentrate more on my own work than the work of others, that isn't really fair.

What is so good about them? There's nothing really cool about having 6 billion posts in one day, and custom titles is just and incentive to post stupid shit that dosn't matter. The whole Title based on post count thing should be scrapped. If custom title sare going to be given out, it's gotta be on usefulness, not being gay and filling the RTT up with 16 posts straight just to make a new fucking RTT.

I'd say the person has to be on the top tabbers list, and generally known to be helpful and shit. Not post stupid shit, not get into gay arguments [Like I do, I realise this.].

How about requiring 2,000 posts AND 2 years of membership?

On one hand this won't create a motivation for post-whoring, 2,000 it's not too much for 2 years of posting. On another, those post-whores () who stayed here for 2 years deserve it too.

I like the idea of giving out custom titles for tabs or score but a) I don't want anyone to tab-whore just to get points; and b) I would like to have an automated process. vBulletin allows to assign custom titles based on the number of posts and days of membership, but not on tabs or score.

What I meant was, you'll have page after page of shit in the pending tabs, plus you'll have people submitting really basic tabs that somehow meet the requirements. Hell, it doesn't metter if they are good quality or not.

The required tab idea is stupid, considering that isn't what the forum is even ABOUT. Granted, yes it IS metalTABS, but that doesn't mean everyone who joins and posts here should be obligated to post a tab. Many of us just want to discuss music, whether it be their own, or someone elses. If you want to tab, fine. Thats great, good job. But you have the total tab # and Score under your name. What more do you want? Here, have an E-Trophy.
