But believe it or not, the others that aren't noise projects actually have some quite good lyics. 'Korpse on the grave' has great lyrics, look them up. It's about how pain goes beyond death.

Well instead of listing all the Black Dahlia Murder songs off of Unhallowed, I'll just say I love them all. Closed Casquet Requiem lyrics stand out the most for me. "My knife shall carve the wings." I just love the atmosphere the lyrics create.

Maybe I'm expecting too much, but I can't get over the fact that like half of you love the lyrics to stupid, pointless, and exceedingly derivative (not to mention banal) death/satan/trve kvlt songs that have no meaning whatsoever... aren't there any songs that really mean something to you? Or are that many of you really that shallow so that unbelievably repetitive and unoriginal lyrics about stereotypically metal subjects. Everybody has something that means something personal to themselves. There are lyrics that cover those things, find something that means something to you. Don't just find something that a 14 year old could pull out of his ass after listening to Cannibal Corpse and Deicide for an hour.

I swear to God I could start a band called SatanGore 2000 and half of you would really think my lyrics were great.
