Right now all I have is a Schecter Studio 4 and a Trace Elliot AH350X, which I both picked up for pretty cheap on eBay. Still need to get myself a cab.

i played a low end ibanez through a peavey today and actually loved the tone I was getting, it sounded like the bass on the wretched spawn album.

These basses surprise me too, I was playing a 200$ Ibanez and I thought
it was much better than the 850$ Spector next door

I'm thinking of getting a good 1x18 cab (not sure what make yet) and a better 4x10, but I must say, the Yorkie's are holding their own!!!!

Cheers.

Why didn't you just get it fixed?

I've played guitar for a fairly long time, and got into bass about a year ago now I guess... been taking it more seriously than guitar since the start of this year and love it.

So far this is my set-up:
Epiphone Explorer bass (no complaints here, I have friends with Warwicks who love this bass)

Elixer strings (those nanoweb things, definitely get them again)

Zoom B2.1u pedal (all I really use on this is the tuner and a bit of compression, I guess after my new amp arrives I will only use the tuner haha. Effects are fun to play around with, but that's about all)

Samick BA10 amp (this thing is terrible, it sounds like you have overdrive on if the volume is raised above 2 or 3. It is very old and beaten around though).

And about 3 weeks ago I ordered a 350watt Hartke head and a 4x10 Hartke XL cab with a horn. Every day that goes by I go a little more insane knowing that this is in a crate somewhere and I'm playing through a 10watt Samick.

So it arrived today:

Spector REBOP - Manufactured between 2002-2004. Nowadays they're called as Rebop-DLX. I'm not sure do they have any other differences than the fretboard graphics?

Anyways this was a monstrous steal at 545$ shipped and I didnt have to pay taxes for some reason (?). I think I'm off to sell my Carvin, this thing urines all over it.

I just couldnt stop saying 'mmmmmmmm-M' at those pics.

What the fuck is wrong with me.

So anyway, I'm awaiting my Washburn XB125, anyone got experience with it?
I already have a Washburn XB100 and it's a fucken tnk man. It fell down stairs, against stairs, from a stage, and in more than a year that I've owned it I had to go repair it, NOT ONCE. Not even a fucked input or something, nffin. Awesome.

So, XB125 experience anyone?

a kid in my dorm just got one ampeg 4x10, and one ampeg 2x15, and 800 watt head, a rack tuner. Rack effects, a metronome, and a cover for all of it for 750$. I walked into his room, looked at his amp, looked at him and then did an up down hand motion near my crotch. He got the point.
