Ripper's pretty good, but mostly in a technical sense. He's got very good range. Bruce and Rob have Voices. With capital Vs. Skill without personality doesn't matter much.

Im gonna have to say Phil on this one. He can (or at least while he is sober) do some really aggressive singing, lighter-raising ballad vocals, and cat-in-acid shrieks. Plus he sang that one morbid angel song really well. I cant remember which one it is right now but it was on youtube. Killer shit. However, Halford still can do most of the songs form their large back catalouge. Phil sems to have lost some of his range.

I particularly care for either but no one can deny that Rob is a far superior vocalist.

I liked Anselmo back in the days [early 90's] before he decided to go for the street bum look. I saw the 'Cemetary Gates' video tonight and had to do a double-take : I was so used to seeing Anselmo with the full beard and flannels I didn't even recognize it was the same dude. He had a better voice too.
That video of the Pantera practice with Kerry King is badass.
Phil vs. Rob = pointless. Halford vs. Dickinson is a better battle. To which my vote goes with Halford all the way.

i dont really like priest... they arent very heavy to me, the falsetto thing just kinda kills the "i am man, hear me roar" mentality of metal hahahah.
phil... i quite like its vocals... but i only listen to superjoint, i really dont like pantera... For superjoint, hes clean vocals are more like yells than anything, but the screams are sooo gooooood... definately better than rob in my eyes.

I would say Rob, buts thats probably beacause im a fan of Priest.
But both singers are talented, but they're not the same style, so i think its kinda pointless to compare them...
Anyways, Rob is the king
