hate to burst your bubble, but neither band is "Extreme." Extreme is like Napalm Death. In Flames are Gothenburg, and Opeth can barely be called progressive death metal.

Yeah yeah. I fucking hate that too. I only believe in basic genres; I.E., Black Metal, Death Metal, Grind, Gothenburg, etc. But when you start doing the whole "Extreme Death/Goregrind," its just fucking unnecessary.
I hate the term Extreme to begin with. Napalm Death are brutal death as far as I'm concerned, and thats as far as I'll go on that one.
