My vote goes to Slayer. I love Pantera, but Seasons in the Abyss is an incredilble album. Slayer get my vote just because Pantera haven't released an album that to me, holds the same amount of water as Seasons.
Slayer can be hugely overrated though.

slayer fucking shit on pantera from a great height. Pantera were good, but thats no competition whatsoever. Pantera turned shit after 4 albums, slayer turned shit (well, not that shit) after 8.
