Man, I get real sweaty after I wack my dong. i always wanted to sing, but years of chronic smoking has left me without that ability...i just don't have the breath for it, i can't get a good yell or anything going, i just doesn't work...ah well

First off I wan't to say that those techniques do work a bit and also instead of milk you can eat yogurt as well, that will help a little but not too much.
Now for the little kid that thinks smoking is COOL, your stupid as hell and if you only smoke about once a week then you have no excuse to not be able to stop because your NOT even addicted. Don't go around telling people it's cool to smoke and shit because you never know, there could be some other 14 or 15 year olds on here that don't know better and will start doing it and thinking that it's cool to do it if you wan't to sing like the vocalists on metal bands.
That's all I have to say now. Oh, the drinking part... Drinking is a priviledge... haha just messing but nah I would rather drink than smoke and I'm not saying to do that instead of smoke because neither is better than one or the other. Now if you have a big drinking problem then that's another story.

Well I have about 10 years experience on vocals and i sing anything from a whistle high scream to a will ramer growl,... (wow, that sounded so full of myself)... Laredo is a border city, and gateway to mexico, thats why i started drinking at 16 cause you could do anything at mexico, lol. thanks for all the feed back, as far as smoking i said it is to grow tisue on your throaght, i never said to consider it an addiction, and alchhol opens up your throaght.

i don't condone smoking either, but i do hear that from a few people in bands, liquor and cigarettes for death vocals, however the milk works especially well, and the baking soda and water is good too, and remember to drink something with honey and lemon after the set to soothe ur vocals, a full set of growling, whether conditioned or not still does a number on the throat
so i have less posts then him, does that make me a twatty noob too? or am i still just an asshole?

Something called Clear Voice? Weird, I never heard of it. Have you tried it out? It is probably for people with a bad sore throat that can't talk much...
