I have a version of Fear Factory - Angel Of Death (Slayer Cover) and it is the one where Tom Araya comes out. I have to say the cover blows its played rather sloppy and whoever recorded it must have don't it on a hlaf assed tape recorder from the back of the show cause it shound distant and really shitty.
Oh and i'll say again Dark Funeral - The Trial (King Diamond) is an amazing fucking cover!!

actually, i did my homework last nite, turns out that it was done by a group called sabbat, an english thrash band, its off their first album, History Of A Time To Come, put out in 1988.this makes sense now, considering that the full name of the CoF cover is "For Those Who Died (Return To The Sabbat Mix)
the song you were thinking of is "For All Those Who Died"

Yes, you are right, I never heard the cover before and I misread what he printed. BTW, the Megadeth cover of "Anarchy in the UK" blows ass and I skip it every time I listen to that CD. I'd rather eviscerate myself and take pictures of my innards as I bleed to death than ever listen to that abomination again.

The other day my friends friend said he heard this cover. So what i said to him: "cradle of filth doesnt cover that song, graveworm does. I have the cd(scourge of malice)." I could be wrong, but i doubt it. Apparently this is being confused more than it should, i searched just now to see if cradle of filth had possibly covered this song as well, the first result was a forum topic asking that question. Turns out they came to the conclusion that CoF covered it. And i didnt feel like singing up there to tell them. Anyway wheres the confusion? the vocals are completely different, that should hint something. Good song though.

You don't think the cover is cheesy, either? I heard it emanating from my brother's room and I laughed so hard that my testicles were drawn back into my body due to the ensuing vacuum created from my inability to breathe.
Anyway, has anybody mentioned At The Gates' cover of Captor Of Sin by Slayer? I love this version more than the original.
