Does any one know were I can find some sound clips of the Crate bv120h in action? I want to hear its distortion and the tone of it before I make a purchase. I don't think my local Guitar Center carries it so I can't try it myself. I would have to drive over 100 miles to get to the nearist dealer, lol.
With the crate can I easily get tones like Children Of Bodom, Dimmu Borgir, and Slayer? Also goes it sound good on palm mutes? I have played some apps that sound fucking awsome when palm muting and others that sound like ass when you do.

My god yesterday i actually tried a BV 120h, it was pretty good, the guy said he would give it to me for like 1200 canadian, reg price was 1500 i guess, but i dunno it seemed like he was trying to "sell" it to me if you know what i mean.
btw for the cabs that go with the BV 120 what kind of speakers do they have, the guy said they had vintage 30's but i think he might of been lieing about it since i mentioned that i wanted a cab with v 30's or gt 75's

some bv cabs do come with vintage 30's, the more expensive ones.... and it will have a decal on the bottom right that says v30 equipped..... the other lower end bv412's are the most shrill, pussy, harsh, cabs with noooo low end.... all because of waayy shitty speakers....

Not really. Theres plenty heavier bands now. Maybe 10 years ago they were the deathiest of death. Dont get me wrong, I love Cannibal Corpse. On their new album I mainly just hear the triple Rect.
About the Blue Voodoo. I actualy didnt like it when I played it at Guitar Center. Apparently the newer ones are not as good.

i didn't say they were the heaviest of heavy.... i siad the deathiest of death .... when most people think death metal they think cannibal corpse. they're like legends of death metal....
and you can actually hear the bv300 pretty well on the cd.
i don't like the newer ones(bv150) as much....i think the bv60h and bv120h are the best.... i mean, 300w i nice for headroom and shear power, but c'mon, it can sound pretty damn cold if you don't have it turned up to a certain point...
all bv's sound good imo though, just some more than others.

I have also been looking at the Spider II head. I have liked line 6 products in the past so yea... Any suggestions on the Spider II head? I have narrowed it down to this....
Heads:
Line 6 Spider II
Peavey XLSUPREME
Cab:
Marshall 1960a
I don't want to spend to much seeing as how I don't want to be in debt.

i personally don't like the spider II's.... or spider I's
the peavey xl supreme is the tube one right? if so then it isnt bad... much better than the line 6, though i still think a bv would take either of em out...
