I think I know the story but I'm not sure.
Was it the Norwegian Death metal band that had the guitarist that murdered the bassist or something and used his skull as a bowl to eat his brains? I have some old metal mag that has a story about a band that this happened to. I will look into it and post the story here if it isn't the same band, because the story I have is pretty good too.

That sounds like it just kinda scribbled around and not complete. A quick summary is. Dead(Vocals) Shot himself in the head Euronymous(Guitar took pictures and put them on a CD cover then he took pieces of his brain and made a stew from them Hellhammer(Drummer)Took pieces of his skull and made a necklace then Varg Vikernes(Bassist) stabbed Euronymous to Death and got sent to jail for 21 years. I think that is how it goes.
