I just got an e-mail from aloud.com about slipknot/slayer gigs in the UK:
Slipknot and Slayer - Together!!!
It's the ultimate extreme metal line up, both legendary artists
have
teamed up for what will be Slipknot's first UK arena tour.
Tickets
are on sale now for the following venues -
Glasgow SECC on Oct 3
Birmingham NIA on Oct 5
Manchester Evening News Arena on Oct 6
Cardiff International Arena on Oct 8
Tickets for Hammersmith Apollo gigs on Oct 9 & 10 will be on
sale
later today- keep checking Aloud.con for tickets access
Anyone else heard about it? If so does anyone know who the main act is? Better not be slipknot...

Sounds like it's a co-headlining tour, ie, they'll take turns, but I can't imagine Slipknot wanting to go on after Slayer. I'm pretty sure Slipknot have done an arena tour over here before as well. I might go to the Manchester one just for Slayer.

i might go , but i heard there was gonna be a Deep Purple gig soon, so i'd prob go to that instead as i ve seen slayer and slipknot before

It would piss me off to see Slayer open for Slipknot. Then again, if They were opening then you wouldn't have to see slipCOCK waiting for SLAYER, you could just leave.
