The whole of Execration Text is chock-full of amazing riffs. Definitely, along with Chapter For Transforming Into A Snake, one of the best Nile songs to play.

I read an interview on some website ages ago - apparently he develops classical peices and egyptian peices alot. I suppose a good example is rameses bringer of war - quite a bit is just playing about with mars bringer of war

One of my favourite riffs of all time is the intro to Davidian by Machine Head. Also the intro to Maze Of Torment and the middle bits to Chapel Of Ghouls both by Morbid Angel are awesome.
