If you didnt have the line "Where you are mine, and I'm your girl" I would almost think that this is a poem about Walpurgis when he doesnt come home at night. Its original

Well, I called a friend quite a few times and kept getting the operator recording. Then I listened to a song "Telephone Line" by ELO that gave me the idea.
That's interesting about the Walpurgis idea. I like hearing other people's views on things and sometimes subtle changes can be made to give an entirely different flavor. I hadn't looked at it that way. There are some give aways that it wasn't about him though like you said.

I like the idea of hard guitars although I was thinking somethinglighter, but it might work withthe right female voice. Maybe ala old Pat Benetar sounding?

Bob es mi nino loco. He's my baby boy (Walpurgis/Bob). I'll scrounge around and see if I can dig up the threads of when he got his drivers license and the Drunken Yeti song. I did some funny stuff about him when I first came here. A serious piece when he enlisted, but he's a nut like his mom. I hope his schedule lightens up a bit so he can come back and hang out once in awhile again.

I don't know! I'm kinda getting this Fear Factory, man against the machine with a soul and a voice that keeps the peeps down, vibe from this song and it's sounding pretty damn heavy in my mind right now. Then again, I'm drinking like the last time I read one of the songs L,B'XXX wrote ( you do write wonderfully ), and d-o really like that one when when I put a metal spin on it.

This song has major multi-meaningful possiblities... Well, at least to me.
