The Korg Rackmount tuners are great. I rather spend big bucks on a quality tuner than on a effect pedal...

For tuning by ear you must be an experienced bassist !! I'm prefer to tune with a tuner. I Have one of Ibanez and this is crap, I agree. But I will get a better one.

What? You have to be experienced to tune by ear? I've only been playing two years and I can do it. Unless you mean with perfect precision, but it's not noticeable if done by ear. My tuner by the way is a Korg-piece-of-shit tuner. I think it was 20$, but whatever, it still works. Well somewhat.

My dream rig? I'd rather have the opportunity to spend more time playing than to have good equipment. It sucks being busy with school/work/other crap.

the speakers are small but phil only uses super high quality stuff and when you have 32 speakers it dosen't matter what size thet are (they are 5 inches speakers)

Talking Utter dream rig...

My dream rig has two characters: P and A. That combined with in-ear monitoring.

What's better than 1000 to 10000 watts of full range power you don't have to lug around yourself? You don't have to maintain it, don't have to pay for it...

On stage I prefer in-ear monitoring or just one or two monitors in front of me. Most of the sound comes from the PA anyway. Even on stage.

Anyone wants to buy my full Warwick 600 watt stack to be his new dream rig?

I don't think i know enough about basses to have a dream rig.
I actually like my sound now.
and i'm only using an ibanez and a yorkville amp.
