chorus is kinda like a rate effect i think, makes it sound a little funky.
an equaliser is a piece of equipment which changes guitar fx such as the ones youve named

Chorus makes it sound like theres more guitars playing in your signal, but its just your sound like some odd times over depending upon how much you use.
Equalization, or EQ, is not really an effect but a tone shaping device, it controls what bands frequencies or pitchs you cut and boost. Synth is neat thing that changes the sound of the instrument to violins, pianos, and keyboards. although all have their uses, i like my signal really dry. no reverb, just distortion from the amp and my 31 band eq.

chorus is rad... it's like a really fast dealy(sometimes so fast the dealy isnt audible) but the "delayed" signal is played back partly out of tune... so it sounds like two guitars... really cool stuff....
like they said eq is just something to shape your sound with... alot of times it's as simple as bass, mid, & treble...

i'm not sure if you mean like a synth keyboard or pedal for guitar or what.... but it's pretty much for synthetic sounds...

i have a chorus pedal and i have used it for a whomping 0 parts for my songs. if you want to sound like kurt cobain, chorus away. but it has no place in metal.

other than chuck, who used it in his leads, and i hate the way it always sounds anyways

i don't get how my intellifex "fucks up" my signal.... it's in my fx loop, when i'm not using fx, it's like it's not there. you wouldnt be able to tell the difference between my signal with or without a bypassed intellifex in the fx loop.
hell, i bet you wouldnt be able to hear much of a difference between a signal with or without a big pedal board with over half a dozen pedals in front of your amp.... because the signal loss would be barely audible.


no it doesnt "overall blow".... i've gone through this.... me and tons of other guitarist use chorus for all sorts of music. and it sounds great. whether i'm playing jazzy stuff or grindcore, it can work...
