Whats are some good (or great) brutal gore metal bands. I'm not new at all to the style, I just want to dig deeper into it because its pretty damn awesome. Here is some of my favorites:

Brutal Death = Devourment, Disgorge all those type of bands.
Gore metal is what you stated. Impaled, Carcass, General Surgery, etc etc.

On their earlier stuff, yes. That really is unlistenable, in many different ways. Mainly the production quality. Their newest album is good.
