Not really a metal tune, but a song of someone else's I play a lot right now is Allan Holdsworth's 'Tokyo Dream'. Cynic's 'Veil Of Maya' is another, at least that tab version that is in D tuning, as opposed to standard.
Seeing as my 6-string is currently in drop A, I may learn 'Papyrus...' by Nile from the new album. I may also give 'Evolutionary Sleeper' by Cynic a look at.
Other songs include most of Fear Factory's back catalogue, when I remember I can play them. I tend to forget for some reason...
