heelz yea!
Just go to www.beneaththemassacre.com , you can download Comforting Prejudice (track 1) there, or you can buy the EP for about $7 US... ! Do it.. it blows my fucking brains out, they inspired me (along with SoP) to play 7 strings.

Ok I forgot if I posted before and I can't be bothered to look..way to lazy.
In no real order here is my top five.
Mark Sawickis (Impetigo)
He had extreemly simple riffs that sawed back and forth. Repeated numerous times and solos nothing more than trem bar butchery. But his riffs (although simple) where some of the greatest I've heard. Like the opening riff of I Work For The Streetcleaner or Defiling The Grave gave off the creepy/cheesy feel you would get from watching old horror films. Where most bands these days who sing about horror films try and be as technical as fuck they don't try and get into characters or atmosphere that represent the topics they are singing about but Impetigo's music fit the topics they were singing about. When I listen to Defiling The Grave I can picture ghouls stalking through the graveyard and tearing open tombs to feast on dead flesh. When I listen to the slow, doomy Breakfest At The Manchestor Morgue I can picture zombies rising from crypts. Zombies are slow, the song is slow so it fits. Hell even in the song Cannibal Ballet they had tribal drumming representing that of a cannibal jungle cult preforming a sacrifice. IMPETIGO IS MY FAVOURITE BAND!
Martin Schirenc (Pungent Stench)
He has some of the most creepy/heavy riffs I've heard on For God Your Soul...For Me Your Flesh. Yet he also can throw song funky solos and guitar work out like on Sick, Bizare, Defaced Creation or Viva La Muerte!
Eric Cutler (Autopsy)
He can create some of the creepiest feelings with his guitar riffs. His doomy and errie chops are virtually unmached by anyone in Death Metal these days (and I'm not talking technicality here. I'm talking atmosphere)
Sean McGrath (Impaled)
His style can be analyzed as one part Bill Steer (Carcass) and one party Pat O Brein (Cannibal Corpse). He has some catchy, melodic feelings like Bill in his sound but he plays all over the neck like Pat. Seriously the tab for Dead Inside is insane. Plus the fact that he sings while doing it is also amazing. I think what gets me the most is his solos. Where most guys try and play a billion notes in a solo he makes his solos speak (very similar to Bill Steer).
Mille Petrozza (Kreator)
The riffs off of Extreme Aggressions are amazing. Just the way he manages to pull them off and sing is wicked. I just love this guy.
Tons More Really, Vai, Schuldiner, ect I just picked these because they were my favourites and where I get the most inspiration for my playing.

My favorite players
1. Allen West (makes me want to grab the nearest bong)
2. Charlie Benante (great riffs, however John Bush should be your singer)
3. Jon Christ (great tone)
4. Trey Azagtoth
5. Ishahn (i just dig the atmosphere)
