Well I just read tons of stuff, from the line of the Sith to Kyle Katarn and Dash Rendar (I remember him from years ago on the N64 in Shadows Of The Empire) to the Yuuzhan Vong invasion to a scientific perspective on the Sarlacc... And Boba Fett surviving being swallowed by the one at Carkoon, to the nature, attributes and properties of the Force.
I have to say though, it's really just fan service. Fan service itself being a recognised term a definition for which can be found on Wikipedia.
