You should at least record some backup guiatr or something. I too am not as big a fan of solos as I am cool riffs. (Ex: I like Petrucci's riffs way better than his solos, especially the bites)

it's hard to make an solo sound like "music" without any backing
it's also not realy necesery to use different scales without backing (but that would be nice  )
it takes lots and lots of patience and practice to play like that... but just playing like that isn't enough... you need to have creativity and the feeling too.. i agree in so much to the other guys.... but you all have to agree, those are some leet skillz (   )

Remember this isn't the only thing I can play. I just liked the sound of it and people were impressed with it, so I recorded it. It doesn't by any means represent my entire playing style. I can play rhythm as well as solos. I could only record one thing that could last 30 seconds, so I picked this riff. I would love to get a full rhythm and solo double tracked song that lasts at least a few minutes, but I don't think I would be able to get it hosted.

I love the tone you got, but your playing, umm... very clean playing, but no melody, and nothing overly complex, I do like the tapping though. 5/10

That was good, you tap pretty well, but I dislike it when bands repeat a sequence over and over in a solo. It can get annoying after a while. Put some more variety in pace and sequences and it would be much better. But you got skill.  |

i agree with wreath. i like complexed solos like tvangeste and children of bodom. i liked the ending and the begining, but the middle got annoying, but i was still pretty good.

You need to work on switching back to pick from finger tapping. Tone sounded pretty good.
