The new Vomit Remnants is pretty technical, Mental Demise is pretty unique semi tech gore death grind, Ancient Necropsy, Christ Denied, Insidous Decrepency, and Benighted are some bands you definately need to check out.

Heh, Deepred were one of the first death metal bands I ever heard. I heard them before Suffocation even. They kicked my arse so badly back in the day. |

Well they got tons of that tremolo picked riffs that all them tech mofos dig, but I never said they were the most technical shit... personally, I dont dig that kind of shit.

i heard a few Necrophagist Tracks, there kick ass, id download more but i dont have a search engine and i have no money/place to buy Necrophagist cds  same with Cannibal corpse, exept i have a place to buy them, bu if my parents saw the CD cover, i think theyd try to send me to a mental hospital

Necrophagist rules. The best songs are Fermental offal Discharge, Stabwound and Only ashes and dust or something

Out of those three I'll stick with Necrophagist. Martyr's vocals are awful, and I just can't get into Cryptopsy.

Necrophagist was the first tech death metal band I heard. Loved em from the first track to the last. Cryptopsy is also pretty good, but my favorite tech. death metal band is DECAPITATED!

Atheist are more than worthy of mention, but not here. I would think they're more prog. metal.

Despondency is another superb band I'm quite fond of. Great chunky riffs, great drummer. Perhaps not 100% technical deathmetal, half grind/brutal dm as well.

Yeah Despondency are pretty good but they are definately Brutal Death Metal, not technical.
