This better be the right fricking forum for a 'what the hell to do?' question.
I've only ever had one set of drums & I thrashed the fuck out of it in about a month. Don't know what make, but it was quite obviously shit. However, if I were to get a set, what kind of gear should I start out with? Is there something that shouldn't be compromised (ie. crap snare, toms, etc., but definitely a good bass, or somesuch thing)?
Bear in mind I will beat this thing like a red-headed step child due to the fact I still suck awfully & am a huge Satyricon, Lamb of God, Slayer, other bands that rule & murder their drums & I can't emulate (yet) fan. Cheers.
