Well to truly sound like Chuck.. You would need to play guitar while singing. That shit.. is highly rediculously impressive, because i've analyzed the singing rhythm to the guitar rhythm... Not the same. In other words.. its not set up for a person to easily it while playing.

But anyways. Do you already now have some sort of vocals going for you?

Chuck screams in the same manner he would speak the word normally. It's very difficult to do.

You wanna sound like Kalmah, there are threads for Black metal vocals.

Why not ask at the lyric forum, too? There's a couple threads about writing itself there that you can read through or direct questions. Don't sell yourself short either. Post something there if you'd like or pm something to me and I'd be happy to give you my comments. If you're not sure about starting we can talk and maybe come up with some topics that will suit your abilities and style.

Questions and comments--

What do you typically write about?-- http://metaltabs.com/forum/showthread.php?t=27650

Yes I have, and he has about the same tone range as Alexi.

Almost the same voice too

Karl Sanders doesn't have a deep voice. In fact I'd say he has a pretty normal-high pitched voice while talking normally, yet I've never heard growls deeper than his.

Steve Tucker on the other hand has in immensely booming normal voice, and his growls are the most vicious convincing vocals I've ever heard in death metal and in music in general.

Bullshit.... Me and my band play a cover of Crystal mountain. Our bassist sings it mainly but sometimes i sing it (I play lead guitar)

Yes his timing signiture is weird but not impossible.

Exactly. The only reason you think the lyrics don't fit is because the linear notes never set up the words into verse stanzas.
