Yes, i knew this video allready, but i guess my foot is too large for (dont know what its called) the footmachine... So, i think my heel would not have enough strength to push my bassdum down...

nah people with big feet can do heel toe

it just requires a diff technique

try playing in barefeer and doing it.

this is why I play Axis Longboardm that extra 2 inches on the FOOTBOARD (not foot machine!) makes heel toes soooo much easier,.

the other way to do heel toe is a slide technique which I can do to a degree

where you slide your foot up the foot board and do 2 hits

there is a video of Chris Adler showing this technique and the standard heel toe technique.

The other way steve Smith demonstrated on his DVD, you play a beat with your leg, then as you lift up with your leg, you play the second hit with your toes,

Maybee i should get these "long" footboards for heel-toe...

It is helpfull to have long boards if you have big feet, but as NZ said, it's possible to do it with big feet. I can bring my foot down alot on my pedal and still pull it off.

But i think i wont use it anyway because i am fast enough with both feet...
