Blessed With Moment
Just a poem. Thanks for reading.
"Blessed With Moment"
Blessed with a moment in time so precious
Memorable movement with a ghost in the night
Shadows remind me as the light dances on the silent waters
A page turns and the story becomes out of sight
Glittering moonlight pulsates ripples on the lake
Caused by a random tear falling
While gazing into the eyes of the faceless man
Into the pool the heart is drowning
Time disappears as part of a life becomes vivid
With memories of a life never lived
The laughter that once was present
Is no longer given or shared
Scattered about the ground crimson and gold leaves
Like the letters that formed the words spoken
Just a jumble of matted ground to be walked upon
Remembrances of hearts broken
Sleeplessness pulsates ripples in mind
Each thought dripping its insomnia
Even closed eyed the colors vividly draw themselves
As birds begin their song
