Well it'll sound more like a v30 equipped cabinet  just listen to a stock 1960 and a v30 equipped cab, like a mesa boogie cab. they have more 'mid-honk'
However, it depends on the cabs too. the mesa v30's are very good examples. the engl v30 cabs don't do the v30 justice IMO. they sound too undefined, they have great lows but that's about it. my 1960 sounds much more clear too. the engl v30xxl is a different world though. Same goes for Diezel v30's and the Bogner cabs, those are good cabs with v30's.
