A sample of each song can be found here;

Sounds like good ol' Symphony X to me. One of those samples sounds like some of the fastest stuff they've recorded and you can tell it's produced by the same guy that produced Opeth's Ghost Reveries; listen to those drums.

I've listened to it twice now and about to start again for the third time.
The vocals I find are a bit irritating at times (specifically in the first few tracks). I think it's the more aggressive approach that causes it, but it's not a major problem. The guitar tone of course is brilliant and I like the use of the occasional choir sounds. Also, there are some parts that are really heavy for Symphony X.
My favourite tracks so far are The Serpent's Kiss and Eve of Seduction.

What about Domination?? I think that's one of my faves so far.. man it's just so damn good!!! Kicks the shit out of anything else released so far this year.. really kills it all, and the heavy parts are fuckign immense!!!
I've started tabbing Domination already too hehe

As with the whole album, it's a good song. The opening riff is the best part of it. The only thing I think this album is missing is one of their trademark epic songs, but there are plenty of other epic sounding shorter songs and sections.

Only if you blow me the entire way and cut out your tounge once we get to the concert so I don't have to hear you babble. Plus, you gotta buy me some booze and, of course, pay for all the gas.
