i just dont like the idea. anybody who googled transient could (after sorting through lots) find where i lived, get my phone number, whatever.
besides, im totally fine with mp3s and i dont particualrly want the cd of everything i listen to anyways

if you guys were seriouse about it, you can do it through ebay or something. I know in the past I have had people sell something and I was the only one that could see it or bid on it. like a private auction in a way just send it to X and they can get it

What about a thread where you can advertise you are selling something, and be contacted thru PM about it. So you dont have to post any details or anything unless you want to.

this would be the best idea.. a sticky somewhere... everybody posts their have & want list, things get resolved with pm.
No more than 1 post in the thread.. people should only post their lists, and just edit it. Make it a lot easier to browse trough stuff..

I agree with this way more.Like Transient said I do not wan't to send my address to just anyone,especialy on a public forum.I would be more than happy to buy/sell to anyone through pm.I do not won't a bunch of people trying to sell me shit just cause I(like a dumbass)posted my e-mail adress on a public forum.I do trust and like a lot of folks on this website,but still its not worth it. It would be cool if it was all REAL cd's and REAL mail and not MP3's and shit, I think that's been said but I didnt read it soooo, it would be cool if like I posted my collection and someone goes "Hey man trade you 'rada rada' for your 'bla bla'" then you can like talk on msn or mail or something and send contact details like your adress and shit, I like the old school feeling of tape/lp/cd trading.
