Currently playing Kingdoms of Amular Reckoning for the second time After having been addicted to Dragon Age II before that & Heavy Rain before that! All on PS3
Haven't got Diablo III yet, don't like the thought of it being only through internet it is a bit fecking anal to be honest! Have a dodgy interweb connection at best of times.

Black Mesa is out on Friday
Also, this new website has just started:
http://indiegamestand.com/
It's a pay-what-you-want indie game store. Like a 24/7 Humble Indie Bundle. I just signed up and got a free game! Weeeeeee!

I've played about an hour or so of Black Mesa and it's pretty fucking impressive. In fact, it makes the original Half-life and the Half-life: Source games look like they're the fan mods and Black Mesa is the real deal!
It's been pretty funny too, especially during the opening sections where you're interacting with the other scientists before the shit hits the fan. Really good writing and voice acting. I knew it would be a good mod and a lot of effort has gone into it (8 years' worth, to be precise) but it's much better than I would ever have expected.
And it's FREE!!!!!!!!!!!1

I can't wait! I'm getting it tomorrow.
I read that there are a few levels left out though. That true?

The Xen section (i.e. the alien bit) is to be released later, but what we have now is a full-length game with an appropriate ending (appropriate in the sense that it doesn't leave you wondering where the other half of the game is), so don't worry about that son.

Any release date for the Xen part? This is my first time through the OG HL so, I don't want to miss out!
I played for a couple hours today. Its a lot of fun and I can only imagine playing this soo many years ago for the first time and how groundbreaking it was/is. My first achievement was called "Brownian Movement" ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brownian_motion) after giving a scientist in the bathroom some toilet paper. Hahaha!
HEY WHY DO THEY CALL IT HALF-LIFE?!
BECAUSE YOU WAIT HALF YOUR LIFE FOR THE NEXT RELEASE AMIRITE AHAHRAHA!

yep.. the game is incredibly fun, but if you don't actually have a team or something, then it's a huge pain in the ass. There needs to be a huge bolded tip somewhere in the client that states, "buying wards boosts your win rate by 80%".
would instantly make the game more enjoyable.

Been playing Day Of Defeat: Source lately. Going to start playing Syberia 1 & 2 or Still Life 1 & 2 soon. Both great games, not sure which I should start first.
