When you're as old as me you don't have to worry about that. 
Dame, my son's reasoning was about the same as mine. Fear. But for us it's been okay. Knock on wood that neither of us has been in serious accidents. I have a hard time driving on freeways though. I get too nervous and don't trust my peripheral vision so I get rides when I need to do that. But my son has no problem anywhere. I think you'll be fine once you do.

How much is an average driving license in the states?
I'll be paying something about $1300-$1500 which is quite a lot in my eyes

License was cheap. Plates are about $45 and last a year for a car. Trucks are more. I know different states have different ways of doing them. In Arizona they used to go by the year of your car. The newer it was the more you paid. I don't remember how long they lasted though.

I don't remember if we've talked since I bought Pro Tools and their hardware with the intention of recording new/improved versions of the past songs. So far I've only done one diligently, but I like it enough. It lacks vocals still. Once a handful of them are all complete, I'll link it here in one way or another.
